gOOOders x MODES in Favignana

gOOOders and MODES for the protection of turtles with the new Favignana pop-up

Rethinking the beauty by spreading the good.

With gOOOders, Eva Geraldine Fontanelli, a well-known international editor, confirms her global mission as an ambassador of ethical and sustainable fashion. With the motto “As sustainable as possible, as soon as possible”, the project captures the need to act now, to get ever closer to a completely sustainable future. Handcrafted, recycled or recyclable, the fashion and lifestyle items of the multi-brand selection have been designed for a community of conscious travelers.

gOOOders has chosen MODES to open a new pop-up on the stunning Favignana. Housed inside the store in Largo San Leonardo 1, space will offer a special selection around objects created with materials made from recycled plastic.

All of this will be highlighted by the works of the contemporary artist Le Sauvage Décorateur, whose compositions echo the deeply ethical dimension of the project.

Accompanying the initiative will be a mission of primary importance, around the theme of safeguarding sea turtles, particularly threatened by the abundance of plastic waste.

To concretely support the Protected Marine Area of the Egadi Islands, the Romeo turtle will be adopted and released into the sea, under the patronage of gOOOders and MODES. The launch of the pop-up, on the 13th of August, will be a further opportunity to educate and raise awareness, with a visit to the Recovery Center for Sea Turtles at the Ex Tonnara Florio, followed by the presentation of the installation that will remain present for a few weeks, until September 15th.

We also created a fundraiser to support Romeo's friends. You can do a donation clicking here.
