These baskets are all hand made in Kenya using recycled plastic. They are gOOOd for the Planet, gOOOd for the people and gOOOd for you considering that they are super cool, super spacious and super light.
You can use them at home to store your magazines or your fresh food in the kitchen or in the bathroom. You can take them as a stylish shopping bag so you will never have to use a plastic bag again or even fix them to your bicycle as a basket.

Every basket is one of a kind.

This one is a very special project for the gOOOders family because it originated from the unique friendship between Eva (gOOOders founder) and Talitha Puri Negri of Tumaini Trust.
At gOOOders we believe that friendship and human connections are the most powerful tools for doing good that’s why we always try to build as many synergies as we can.
Talitha Puri Negri founded Tumaini Scholarship – the initial program of Tumaini Trust - in 2014, as a result of her personal life experience.
Since 2009, once a year, Talitha travelled to Nairobi to teach in a local school in the slum of Korogocho, one of the many shantytowns, which border the city centre. Talitha now lives permanently in Kenya, to personally manage the trust.
The aim of the project is to allow a larger number of students to access secondary and tertiary education, even though their parents are unable to sustain their school fees.
The trust objectives are to have a positive impact on the surrounding environment through community-based activities.
The first born of this beautiful collaboration is a line of bags all handmade in Kenya using natural materials. Part of the proceeds will be donated to Tumaini Trust to help as many children as possible.

Made with the intention of donating proceeds back to charitable organisations specific to the brand’s social and cultural environment.
The use of organic and natural materials is essential in all of our lines, ranging from fashion to beauty. Our designers are committed to sourcing the most ethical materials possible, with an emphasis on low-environmental impact and longevity.
Supporting equality and prosperity for all people involved regardless of gender, race, religious beliefs or economic status. When every individual is self-sufficient, we believe that the entire world prospers.
Our brands ensure a living wage for its supply chain workers, while also providing opportunities for acceleration, professional development and leadership to their communities.
Respect for the people making the products we chose to feature is key to us. We make sure everyone is paid living wages and works under safe working conditions. This process promotes responsible production in an economy that values transparency.
