Entirely handmade with no two pairs the same, these slippers are upcycled from vintage Boucharouite rugs and are the designer's homage to authentic Berber craft while also supporting local Moroccan craftspeople. The Calla collection is a journey through the souks of Morocco, by way of Paris. Showcasing authentic Berber craftsmanship and imbued with a certain savoir-fare, Calla creates luxury textiles and babouche slippers, upcycled from vintage Boucharouite rugs. Our designers are as committed as we are to the concept of minimal waste. In order to reduce waste, they use upcycled materials, including scrap and repurposed materials from discarded goods aiming at minimising the flow of waste into landfills.
